To capture store reviews, you must install the Seguno Reviews app blocks in your store. Click here to view the guide.
Capture and Display Store Reviews
Capture and display Store reviews using Seguno's Review list block.
Go to your Online Store, then click Customize
Select the Review list block
In the product section, change the Product selected to None by removing the currently selected product
Setting the Product to None will set the block to collect Store reviews
By default, new Review list blocks will be set to collect Store reviews
In the Show all published reviews section, change Type to include to your display one of the following:
Shop reviews only
Product reviews only
All reviews (shop and product)
Depending on your selection, the Review list will update its call-to-action text to read:
Write a store review
or
Write a product review
Capture and display Store reviews using Seguno's Write review button block.
Go to your Online Store, then click Customize
Select the Write review button block
In the product section, change the Product selected to None by removing the currently selected product
Setting the Product to None will set the block to collect Store reviews
By default, new Review list blocks will be set to collect Store reviews
Depending on your selection, the Write review button call-to-action text will read:
Write a product review
or
Write a store review
View Store Reviews in the Seguno Reviews app
Store reviews will be listed on the Reviews page in the Seguno Reviews app.
No product will be associated with these reviews, so they appear blank in the reviews list.
Filter reviews by Store or Product
Navigate to the Reviews page in the Seguno Reviews app
Click the Search and filter button
Click the Type drop-down menu and select Store or Product
Displaying star ratings
The Star rating block will show the cumulative average of all reviews for your given display category.
Show star rating for Store reviews
Go to your Online Store, then click Customize
Select the Star rating block
Change the Product selected to None by removing the currently selected product
Setting the Product to None will set the block to collect Store reviews
By default, new Star rating blocks will be set to collect Store reviews
In the Average rating section, change Type to include to one of the following:
Shop reviews only
Product reviews only
All reviews (shop and product)
Depending on your selection, the Star rating block text will update to say:
Based on... Product Reviews
Based on... Store Reviews
or
Based on... Reviews
Add your logo to the Store review window
You can add your Store's or Brand's logo to the Store review popup window by adding it to Shopify's Brand assets section in the Settings menu.
Navigate to your Shopify Brand assets
In the Logos section, click add a square logo
Select your logo, click done
