Automatically thank customers after a review is published.

Using the Marketing automations in Shopify, you can send a thank you message to subscribers after their review is published.

You can either download our template for a quick start or follow our setup guide below if you'd like to do it yourself.


Download our thank-you automation template

You can now download our automation templates to set up more advanced templates easily.

This automation will send you an internal notification email when a new review is submitted for one of your products and an automated thank-you email to the reviewer based on the rating.

The red "!" is where you must create your own email for the automation. Once that is created, turn on the workflow.

To send a thank you message after a review is published:

  1. From your Shopify Admin, navigate to Marketing, then Automations.

  2. Click View templates.

  3. Click Create custom automation.

  4. Click Select a trigger.

  5. From the Select trigger list, select Seguno Reviews, then Product review published.

  6. From the Start when node, click the plus sign, select action.

  7. From the Select action list, click Seguno email, then Send marketing email.

  8. Click Select template.

  9. Select a template and customize the email.

  10. Once the email is customized, click Exit.

  11. From the workflow, click Turn on workflow.
