Set a discount for specific product variants

Create a discount that applies to specific variants, rather than all product variants.

In some instances, you may want to offer a discount for specific product variants. Variant discounts can be applied to percentage, fixed amount, and buy X, get Y discounts.

Note: Free shipping discounts apply to all products and can not be applied to specific variants.

To offer a discount for specific variants of a product:

  1. Click Create discount set

  2. In the Types card, select the discount type:

    1. Percentage, Fixed amount, or Buy X get Y

  3. For percentage or fixed amount discounts:

    1. In the Value card, select Specific products

    2. Click Browse

    3. Select the checkbox(s) for the specific product variants

    4. Click Add

  4. For Buy X get Y discounts:

    1. In the Customer buys card, click Browse

    2. Select the checkbox(s) for the specific product variants

    3. Click Add
