Email templates in Seguno Email Marketing are reusable email layouts that store your design, sections, and structure for future sends. Use them to save time when creating newsletters, campaigns, and automations, and to maintain a consistent look across all your emails.
Types of templates
Seguno Email Marketing includes two types of templates: starter templates and template store templates.
Starter templates
Your account includes starter templates for newsletters, campaigns, and automations. Starter templates contain pre-selected sections and action-oriented copy for popular newsletter topics. They also include built-in best practices for email length, calls to action, and structure.
Template store
Seguno Email Marketing offers professionally designed templates in the Template store. These templates focus on ecommerce events and holidays throughout the year.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use a template for automations?
Yes. All automations in Seguno Email Marketing start with a pre-built series of templates. You can also apply any template from your library when editing an automation email.
Can I restore an archived template?
Yes. Archiving hides a template from the available list but does not delete it. Navigate to the Templates page to restore it at any time.
Can I customize a starter template without losing the original?
Yes. Customizing a starter template only updates your version of it. You can also duplicate it first to keep the original layout intact.
What does the Conditional content drop-down do?
The Conditional content drop-down lets you preview how a template appears when a discount is or is not assigned to a newsletter. This applies to templates designed to optionally include a discount.
