Duplicate a newsletter in Seguno Email Marketing to reuse an existing newsletter as the starting point for a new send.
Duplicate a campaign to copy every newsletter in that campaign at once.
Both options let you keep the original recipients and exclusions. Use duplication for similar sends, seasonal promotions, or variations of a previous email.
Duplicate a newsletter from the newsletter details page
Open the newsletter you want to copy.
Click the Actions drop-down menu.
Select Duplicate.
Update the fields in the Duplicate newsletter modal.
To keep the original recipients and exclusions, select the Include recipients checkbox.
Click Duplicate.
The new newsletter is saved as a draft.
What resets when duplicating
A duplicated newsletter in Seguno Email Marketing keeps all design sections, content, the subject line, and the preview text.
These settings reset:
Scheduling: The schedule is cleared.
Recipients: Resets to All subscribers, unless the Include recipients checkbox is selected. When selected the duplicate keeps the same recipients and exclusions as the original newsletter.
Discount: Resets to No discount
Example:
If the original newsletter targeted a segmented audience and included a Shopify discount, the duplicate will default to all subscribers and remove the discount association.
Note:
Review the Recipients section before scheduling. If Include recipients was not selected, the duplicated newsletter sends to all subscribers, not the original segment.
Tip:
To reuse only the layout, save the newsletter as a Template instead. A template does not copy audience or campaign settings. Learn more about email templates.
Duplicate a campaign in Seguno Email Marketing
A campaign in Seguno Email Marketing groups multiple newsletters that share a theme, design, and reporting view. Duplicating a campaign copies every newsletter in that campaign.
Open the Campaigns page in Seguno Email Marketing.
Open the campaign you want to copy.
Click the Actions drop-down menu.
Select Duplicate.
Update the fields in the Duplicate campaign modal.
To keep the original recipients and exclusions, select the Include recipients checkbox.
Click Duplicate.
What resets when duplicating a campaign
A duplicated campaign in Seguno Email Marketing leaves every copied newsletter unscheduled, so you can see a new send date and time for each one.
Scheduling: Cleared for all newsletters in the campaign.
Recipients: The same recipients and exclusions from the original campaign carry over only if the Included recipients checkbox is selected. Otherwise, recipients reset to All subscribers.
Discount: Discounts are not carried over. Reapply any Shopify discount to each newsletter before sending.

A merchant ran a three-email Black Friday campaign last year to a VIP segment. The merchant duplicates the campaign, selects Include recipients, reapplies the discount, updates the dates in each newsletter, and schedules all three for this year's sale.
