Merchants use campaigns to coordinate several email sends that guide subscribers toward a specific action, such as making a purchase or registering for an event.
A campaign groups newsletters together so merchants can maintain consistent styling and view aggregated performance reporting.
Create a campaign
Campaign templates include multiple newsletters with a shared theme and layout. Merchants can also create a campaign without a template and add newsletters manually.
To create a campaign:
Open Seguno: Email Marketing in the Shopify admin.
Navigate to the Campaigns page.
Click Create campaign.
Select your preferred template.
Enter a campaign name in the Name field.
Click Create campaign.
Schedule newsletters in a campaign
The campaign timeline displays all newsletters scheduled within the campaign. Each newsletter can be scheduled individually.
To schedule a newsletter:
Open the campaign.
Click Schedule.
Enter the Subject.
Enter the Preview text.
Enter the Date.
Enter the Time.
Click Continue.
Review the delivery details.
Click Schedule delivery.
Repeat these steps for each newsletter in the campaign timeline.
Modify newsletters in a campaign
Each newsletter in a campaign can be customized individually, including recipients, discounts, and email content.
To edit recipients or discounts:
Open the campaign.
Click View to open the newsletter details page.
Edit the Recipients settings.
Edit the Discounts settings.
To edit newsletter content:
Open the campaign.
Click the newsletter preview.
Edit the email content.
Click Save.
View campaign reporting
Campaign reporting provides both individual newsletter metrics and aggregated results for the entire campaign.
To view campaign reporting:
Navigate to the Campaigns page.
Select a campaign.
The top section of the campaign details page displays aggregated reporting for all newsletters in the campaign.
