Connect Seguno to your Instagram account to access your posts when adding images to your emails.

Connect Instagram

In order to import images from your Instagram directly to Seguno, the connection must be approved through your Seguno Connections page. Connecting with Instagram gives Seguno access to read your profile and media information.

To connect Instagram to Seguno:

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard, then Connections.

  2. Select Instagram.

  3. Click Connect.

  4. Login to your shop's Instagram.

  5. Click Allow.

    1. Both permissions are required to import your image posts to Seguno. Removing media access will result in a connection error.

Access to a public Instagram account does not need to be refreshed. If your shop's Instagram account is private, access will need to be refreshed every two months to access new images.

Add Instagram posts to an email

Photos from your Instagram feed may be added to any image section in Seguno.

To add an Instagram post to an email:

  1. Open the Editor.

  2. Add an image-based section (Flipbook, Gallery, Image, Image with text, Image with text overlay).

  3. Select the section.

  4. Click Select image.

  5. Select the Instagram tab.

  6. Select an image.

  7. Add an image description and link to the image.

Images are sorted by the most recent posts. If a post contained multiple images, all images from that post will be grouped together and available.

Note: Videos are not currently supported through the Instagram Connection. To use videos in your emails, convert them to GIFs optimized for emails and import them to an image section.

Disconnecting the Instagram connection

Disconnecting Instagram will not affect images that have been added to your emails. You may also manage access through the Apps and Websites menu in your Instagram account settings.
