Through Seguno's Canva integration, you can create images in Canva's editor without leaving Seguno and import them directly into your Seguno image library for use in your emails.
Connect the Canva Integration
Using the Canva integration requires having a Canva account. Canva accounts are available for free, with premium content available at an additional cost. If you have not already created an account, you can create one directly through the integration.
Note: Seguno's support of Canva is limited to the Seguno integration and does not include the Canva editor, design tools, or cost-of-use. Learn more about Canva from their tutorials.
To connect Canva to Seguno:
Navigate to the Dashboard, then Connections.
Select Canva.
Click Connect.
Login to your Canva Account.
Using Canva images in Seguno emails
The Canva integration is available for any image-based section in the Seguno editor.
To create an image in Canva from within the Seguno Editor:
Open any newsletter or automation email.
Add an image section.
In the Image section, select Design with Canva.
Select a canvas size, click Create design.
Each of the configured canvas sizes corresponds to a Canva template collection that works well with email. If you'd like to build a different layout, use a canvas with Custom dimensions.
Create the design in Canva.
Click Publish.
Once published to Seguno, the image will be saved to your Seguno image library and marked with the Canva logo.
Tip: There is a lot of flexibility for creating different-sized images in Canva. Images in the body of your email will have a maximum width of 600px and, as a best practice for sharp images on high-resolution devices, use images that are roughly 1000 - 1200px wide.
To edit a Canva design:
From the Image section, click Select image.
Select the Canva design.
All Canva designs are marked with the Canva logo in the bottom left corner of the image.
Click Edit to open the Canva editor.
Edit the design.
Click Publish.
Supported media
Animated images are not able to be imported to Seguno through the integration.
To add animated images from Canva to Seguno:
Export the animation as a GIF directly from Canva.com.
In the Image section, click Select image.
Click Add image.
Select the gif.
