Add the Seguno integration to connect Seguno Email Marketing with your in-store purchases. This integration allows staff to sign up subscribers at checkout and apply active discount codes sent via Seguno emails directly in Shopify POS.
Add Seguno to Shopify POS
Add the Seguno tile to the Shopify POS home screen to access subscriber profiles and recent discount codes.
Steps to add Seguno to your POS:
Open Shopify POS
Tap on the Add tile button.
Select App.
Select Seguno: Email Marketing.
In the Actions section, tap Add next to the Seguno action.
Tap Done.
The Seguno tile will now appear on the POS home screen.
Sign up subscribers using Shopify POS
Use Shopify POS to add new subscribers at checkout with proper consent.
Steps to sign up an in-store customer:
Add the customer to the cart.
If the customer already exists:
Search by name or email address.
Select the customer from the search results.
If the customer is new:
Select Add new customer.
Ask the customer if they would like to receive marketing emails.
If the customer agrees, toggle Accepts marketing to ON.
Complete the checkout process.
Warning:
Always ask for explicit consent before toggling Accepts marketing. Do not subscribe a customer without permission. Subscribing customers without consent can increase spam complaints and harm deliverability.
Apply an active discount code in store
Shopify POS can display recent discount codes sent through Seguno: Email Marketing. Staff can copy and apply an active code without the customer searching their inbox.
Steps to search for and apply an active discount code:
In Shopify POS, tap the Seguno tile.
Select View subscriber profile.
Search for the customer by name or email address.
In the Recent discounts panel, locate the active discount.
Tap the more actions menu next to the discount.
Select Copy discount code.
Close the subscriber profile.
Apply the discount to the cart using one of the following methods:
Select Discount code as the discount type.
Paste the code from the clipboard.
Tap Save.
Shopify POS Classic
If using Shopify POS Classic, the Seguno action appears on the Cart page rather than the POS home screen.

How does Shopify POS know which discounts to show?
Shopify POS displays recent discount codes sent to the subscriber through Seguno: Email Marketing. Only active Shopify discount codes appear in the subscriber profile.
Can I apply a discount if the customer is not subscribed?
You can apply a valid discount code manually in Shopify POS. However, the Seguno subscriber profile and recent discounts panel are only available for subscribers.
Does subscribing a customer in POS sync with Seguno automatically?
Yes. When Accepts marketing is toggled on with customer consent, the subscriber syncs automatically to Seguno: Email Marketing.
Why is the discount not applying?
Check the following:
The discount is active in Shopify.
The discount has not expired.
The discount usage limit has not been reached.
The correct code was pasted without extra spaces.
