You can access Canva designs directly inside the Seguno Editor using the Canva integration. This feature enables you to import Canva designs directly into the Seguno image library, or to take any of your images from Seguno to Canva's editor and return them, without the need to download or upload.
Connect your Canva account
Through Seguno's Canva integration, you can access your Canva designs and edit your content with Canva's editor. Images edited in Canva will be saved in your Seguno image library, as well as a user folder in Canva, allowing you to share the folder for team collaboration.
Note:
Seguno support for Canva is limited to the Seguno integration. Seguno does not provide support for the Canva editor, design tools, or Canva pricing. Learn more about Canva from their tutorials.
Steps to connect Canva to Seguno:
Navigate to Seguno Email Dashboard, then down to Connections.
Select Canva.
Click Connect.
Log in to your Canva account.
Follow the prompts to authorize the connection.

Using the Canva integration requires a Canva account. Canva accounts are available for free, with Pro and Teams accounts available at an additional cost. Learn more about a Canva Pro subscription here.
If you have not already created an account, you can create one directly through the integration.
Use Canva images in Seguno emails
The Canva integration is available anywhere an image-based section is used in the Seguno Editor.
Steps to view your Canva library from within the Seguno Editor:
Open any newsletter or automation email.
Add an image section.
In the Image section, select Canva.
You may also create a new design.
Tip:
Images used in the body of an email have a maximum display width of 600 px. For sharp images on high-resolution devices, ensure your Canva designs are at least 600px wide, or 1,000–1,200px wide for best practices.
Creating Canva images in Seguno
The Canva integration lets you access your Canva designs, the editor, and templates through Seguno. This means you can create new designs when composing an email. The Canva integration is available for any image-based section in the Seguno editor.
Steps to add a Design from Canva:
Open the Editor.
Add any image-based section (Flipbook, Gallery, Image, Image with text, or Image with text overlay).
Select the section.
Click either:
Select from Canva
Choose an existing design from your Canva library.
Create in Canva
Create a brand new design in Canva to bring back into your Seguno Email.
Click on the image, then press Select
Tip:

To edit an image in Canva:
Open the Editor.
Select the image section.
Click Edit in Canva.
This will bring your image into Canva Design Studio, where you can edit the image.
Edit the design.
Use the Return to Seguno action to sync the image directly into the editor.
This saves both the original and edited images for reference.
A folder named "Seguno Email (Your Name)" will be created and used for designs created or edited through the Seguno - Canva connection.
Once an image has been published, it will be saved to your Seguno images library and marked with the Canva logo. This icon indicates that this image has an associated design in your Canva account - with all of the design components for text, elements, layers, etc.
Note:
Each user who connects their account to Canva via the Seguno Email connection will have a Canva designs folder created automatically after using the connection.
It is recommended to share the folder with any other coworkers using the Seguno Email app for greater collaboration.
Supported media
Animated images cannot be imported through the Canva integration at this time.
To use animated images from Canva:
Export the animation as a GIF from Canva.
In the image section, click Select image.
Click Add image.
Select the GIF file.

Can I import previously created Canva designs into Seguno?
Yes. Once your Canva account is connected, you import your designs directly to Seguno for use in your emails.
Can I import animated images from Canva to Seguno?
Animated images cannot be imported to Seguno through this connection. If you'd like to bring an animated image into Seguno, export it from Canva as a GIF, and then upload it to your Seguno image library.
Can my team access the Canva designs I created in Seguno?
If you have multiple contributors working on your Canva designs, be sure to share your Canva folders for better collaborative access.
