How to view email metrics and reports in Seguno Email Marketing

Find and review performance reports for newsletters, campaigns, and automations in Seguno Email Marketing.

Seguno Email Marketing provides performance reports for newsletters, campaigns, and automations. Use these reports to review open rates, click rates, sales, and deliverability data. You can also export reports as PDFs directly from the Reports page.

Lifetime metrics

Seguno Email Marketing displays lifetime performance metrics at the top of the Dashboard. Open the Dashboard to view total revenue and conversions generated across all email activity.

Newsletter reports

Seguno Email Marketing provides two ways to access newsletter performance metrics and in-depth reports.

From the Dashboard

The Dashboard shows your most recent newsletters and their performance metrics at a glance.

To view a detailed report for a specific newsletter:

  1. Open the Dashboard.

  2. Select the newsletter from the recent newsletters list.

  3. View performance, engagement, and deliverability metrics on the Newsletter details page.

  1. Navigate to the Newsletters page.

  2. Select the newsletter from the list.

  3. Click View report.

Campaign reports

A campaign in Seguno Email Marketing is a group of newsletters with a shared theme and goal. Seguno Email Marketing provides both aggregated campaign metrics and individual newsletter reports within a campaign.

To view the aggregated report for a campaign:

  1. Navigate to the Newsletters page.

  2. Click Campaigns.

  3. Select the campaign from the list.

  4. View the aggregated metrics at the top of the Campaign details page.

Automation reports

An automation in Seguno Email Marketing is a single email or a series of emails sent to a subscriber based on a specific trigger action. Because automations send to smaller, highly targeted audiences, their open and click rates are typically higher than newsletter metrics.

Series: multi-email automations

For automations that contain multiple emails, Seguno Email Marketing provides aggregated reporting across all emails in the series.

To review the aggregated metrics for an automation series:

  1. Navigate to the Automations page.

  2. Select the automation from the list.

  3. View the aggregated metrics on the Automation details page.

To review metrics for an individual email within a series:

  1. Find the email in the email list on the Automation details page.

  2. Click the Actions drop-down.

  3. Select View report.

Single-email automations

To review metrics for a single-email automation:

  1. Navigate to the Automations page.

  2. Select the automation from the list.

  3. View the email metrics on the Automation details page.

Export reports

Export engagement and subscriber reports as PDFs from the Reports page in Seguno Email Marketing. Click the Export PDF button to generate a report.

Exported reports include the following options:

  • Timeframe: the selected date range, with optional comparisons to previous timeframes

  • Interval: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly

  • Activities: all, recent newsletters, recent automations, or recent campaigns


FAQs

Where can I view my store's total email revenue?

  • Lifetime revenue and conversion totals appear at the top of the Dashboard in Seguno Email Marketing.

How do I export my email reports?

  • Open the Reports page in Seguno Email Marketing and click Export PDF. You can filter by timeframe, interval, and activity type before exporting.

Why are my automation open rates higher than my newsletter open rates?

  • Automations are triggered by specific subscriber actions, so they reach a more targeted audience. This typically results in higher open and click rates compared to newsletters.

Can I view metrics for individual emails within an automation series?

  • Yes. On the Automation details page, click the Actions drop-down next to the email and select View report.
