Search for your customer's discount code inside Gorgias

Establish Connection

Follow these steps to connect the Bulk Discount Code Bot app to Gorgias.

  1. Open the Bulk Discount Code Bot app from your Shopify Admin.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Scroll to the Connections section.

  4. Click Connect next to Gorgias.

  5. Enter your Gorgias subdomain.

    1. Example: seguno.gorgias.com

  6. Click Submit to complete the connection process.

Note: The integration is fully functional and has been submitted for review to the Gorgias app store. You'll see when you connect that it's not yet an approved app.

Inside Gorgias

Once inside Gorgias, in the sidebar, you'll see a Bulk Discount Code Bot widget that lets you search for Shopify discount codes.

Click Search Shopify Discounts to launch the search modal

Enter the discount code in question

A note will appear in the Gorgias ticket with the details of the requested discount code.

  • Which discount set the discount code can be found in.

  • The discount the code offers.

  • The number of times the individual code has been used.

  • The Start date or Creation date.

  • And if applicable, an End date or Expiration date.

Remove or Reset the Bulk Discount Code Bot widget in Gorgias

Steps to remove the widget

  1. In the Gorgias tickets dashboard, locate and click the Settings icon in the sidebar.

  2. Next to the Customer Widget for the Bulk Discount Code Bot app, click Delete Widget.

  3. Click Save changes.

Note:

This removes the widget for everyone who has access to the account.

Steps to reset the widget

  1. In Bulk Discount Code Bot, navigate to Settings.

  2. Scroll down to Connections.

  3. Under the Gorgias connection, click Reset Gorgias widgets.

Disconnect accounts

  1. In Bulk Discount Code Bot, navigate to Settings.

  2. Scroll down to Connections.

  3. Under the Gorgias connection, click Disconnect.

This completely removes the widget and disconnects the Bulk Discount Code Bot app from Gorgias.

FAQs

Can I connect multiple Shopify accounts to one Gorgias account?

  • Yes, you can currently connect up to 10 Shopify accounts to a single Gorgias account using this connection. Please contact Support if you need assistance connecting more than 10 accounts.
