You can sync discount sets from the Bulk Discount Code Bot app with Klaviyo so new codes appear automatically on Klaviyo’s API Coupons page. This integration removes manual exports by pushing your unique discount codes to Klaviyo and automatically replenishing discount sets when available codes are below the minimum threshold.
Note: This integration is only available to merchants on the Grow plan for the Bulk Discount Code Bot app.
Establish the Connection
Follow these steps to connect the Bulk Discount Code Bot app to Klaviyo.
Open the Bulk Discount Code Bot app from your Shopify Admin.
Click Settings.
Scroll to the Integrations section.
Click Connect next to Klaviyo.
Complete the Klaviyo sign-in process to authorize the connection.
Enable sync for existing discount sets
Enable syncing for any existing discount set.
Open the Bulk Discount Code Bot app.
Click the discount set you want to sync.
In the Integrations section, select the checkbox Sync with Klaviyo.
(Optional) Select Automatically add new codes to maintain a minimum available code count.
Enter a Minimum threshold value.
When available codes fall below this number, the app will automatically generate additional codes at the next hourly sync. You may also manually push additional codes to an existing discount set.
Note: Discount codes created prior to activating Sync with Klaviyo will not sync. Only newly created codes will sync after activation.
Enable sync for new discount sets
You can enable Klaviyo sync during the discount set creation process.
From the Bulk Discount Code Bot app, click Create discount set.
Configure your discount details.
From the Integrations section, select sync with Klaviyo.
(Optional) Select Automatically add new codes.
Enter a Minimum threshold to trigger automatic code generation.
The app will automatically generate new codes when the available codes drop below this number.
Note: When automatically adding new codes, the Bulk Discount Code Bot app will add double the minimum threshold. For example, if the minimum threshold is 500, the app adds 1,000 new codes when available codes fall below 500.
Common Issues & FAQs
Why are the available codes below the minimum threshold?
After the initial sync, the discount sets will be updated once per hour. Please wait until the new hour begins for the codes to appear in Klaviyo.
Do previously created codes sync to Klaviyo?
No. Only codes created after enabling Sync with Klaviyo will sync.
How often do codes sync to Klaviyo?
Once per hour. Larger discount sets may take additional time.
Can I change the minimum threshold later?
Yes. You can update the Minimum threshold at any time in the discount set’s Integrations section.
Will I run out of discount codes?
As long as your minimum threshold is high enough to cover the maximum number of codes you need within an hour, you will not run out of codes. Code sets are automatically replenished each hour if there are fewer available codes than the minimum threshold.
Why did the app generate twice the number of codes I expected?
When automatic code generation is enabled, the app always adds double the minimum threshold.
Does disabling sync remove existing codes from Klaviyo?
No. Codes already synced to Klaviyo remain available even if you disable syncing.
