How to use express checkout in Seguno emails

Add express checkout to Back in stock and Featured product emails in Seguno Email Marketing and customize the button style.

Express checkout lets subscribers go directly from your email to checkout from supported sections in Seguno: Email Marketing. You can enable express checkout in Back in stock emails and Featured product sections, and you can choose either Standard express checkout or Shop Pay express checkout.

If the email includes a discount, the discount is applied automatically at checkout when the subscriber clicks the express checkout button.

Note: Shop Pay express checkout is only available for stores that have activated Shop Pay.


How express checkout works

Express checkout gives subscribers a faster path from the email to checkout. In supported sections, the button takes the subscriber directly to checkout for the product shown in the email.

You can choose between two express checkout options:

  • Standard express checkout

  • Shop Pay express checkout

If the email includes a discount, the discount is applied automatically at checkout when the subscriber uses express checkout.


Add Express checkout to a Back in stock automation

  1. In Seguno: Email Marketing, go to Automations.

  2. Select the Back in stock automation.

  3. Open the Actions drop-down menu next to the email.

  4. Click Customize.

  5. Select the Back in stock summary section.

  6. Select the Show express checkout checkbox.


Add Express checkout to a Featured product section

  1. In Seguno: Email Marketing, open a draft newsletter or automation that includes a Featured product section.

  2. Click Customize.

  3. Add a Featured product section if the email does not already include one, or select the existing Featured product section.

  4. Select the Show express checkout checkbox.

You can change the button shape to one of these options:

  • Square

  • Rounded

  • Pill

Standard express checkout

You can change the button color in the email theme settings:

  1. Open Theme settings.

  2. Select Colors.

  3. Scroll to Buttons.

  4. Update the Primary button color.

Shop Pay express checkout button

You can change the button shape, but you cannot customize the button color or other button styling.
