Shopify Forms is Shopify's native subscription and lead-capture tool. It allows you to map custom fields, such as email preferences or birthdays, to Shopify customer metafields at the point of signup.
Use this integration to collect preference data from new subscribers and personalize campaigns from the start.

How form data can be used by Seguno
Shopify Forms lets you add custom fields to your signup or lead-capture forms. When you map a custom field to a Shopify customer metafield, the customer's submitted data is automatically saved to their customer record.
These metafields can be used to create customer segments on Shopify's customer page, and Seguno Email Marketing can then use them to call out customer-specific information in newsletters and automations.
Email use cases
The following are common ways merchants use Shopify Forms data with Seguno Email Marketing.
Preference-based campaigns and automations at signup
Add a custom field to your signup form asking customers about their product preferences or interests (e.g., "What are you shopping for?"). Map the answer to a customer metafield. Then segment by that metafield in Shopify's Customers page to send campaigns featuring only the products most relevant to each subscriber using Seguno Email Marketing.
Birthday capture for birthday emails
Add a birthday field to your signup form and map it to a date metafield. Build a segment for Seguno Email Marketing to use that filters by birth month, then send a birthday discount email during that month. Check out our Send a birthday automation article for more details.
Warning:
If a customer is not subscribed to your email marketing, they will not receive any of the automated emails. Seguno Email Marketing operates on a consent-based system and will only send emails to individuals who have actively subscribed to your email marketing.
