How the connection works
When a visitor submits a popup form in Seguno Popups & Forms, they are added as a subscriber to your Shopify store. The welcome automation in Seguno Email Marketing monitors for new Shopify subscribers and triggers immediately when one is added. No separate integration step is required between the two apps.
Steps to activate the welcome automation
Open Seguno Email Marketing.
Navigate to Automations in the left menu.
Select Welcome from the list of automation types.
Click Activate to turn on the automation.
Note:
Once activated, the welcome automation is sent to all new Shopify subscribers, including those collected through popups. Subscribers who signed up before activation will not receive the series retroactively.
Using a third-party popup app
If you use a popup app other than Seguno Popups & Forms, the welcome automation still triggers as long as the popup app syncs new subscribers to your Shopify customer list.
To verify this, check whether your popup app's settings include an option to sync contacts with Shopify. If your popup app does not sync with Shopify, subscribers will not receive the welcome automation.
