Does Seguno install any code on my website?

Seguno integrates directly with Shopify data and does not install code on your storefront or modify your Shopify theme.

Updated over a month ago

Seguno: Email Marketing integrates directly with Shopify data and does not install code on your storefront. The app monitors changes in Shopify data, such as customers, orders, and products, instead of adding scripts or modifying your Shopify theme.

Because the integration works through Shopify’s platform, merchants do not need to install or manage code on their website to use Seguno.

How Seguno integrates with Shopify

Seguno: Email Marketing connects to Shopify using Shopify’s secure data integration. Instead of installing code on the storefront, Seguno reads changes from Shopify data sources.

Seguno monitors Shopify data such as:

  • Subscriber and customer records

  • Orders and purchase activity

  • Products and collections

  • Store events that trigger automations

This data allows Seguno to power features like campaigns, newsletters, and automations without requiring any storefront scripts.

What Seguno does not change on your storefront

Seguno does not modify your Shopify storefront or theme.

Specifically, Seguno does not:

  • Install scripts or tracking code on storefront pages

  • Modify Shopify theme files

  • Inject JavaScript into the storefront

  • Change page performance or load times

Because Seguno does not add storefront code, uninstalling the app also does not require removing leftover scripts or theme edits.
