Seguno Email Marketing lets you embed an email signup form directly in your Shopify storefront using app sections, no code required. Use this feature to grow your subscriber list with a Shopify Online Store 2.0 (OS 2.0) theme.
Before you begin
This feature requires a Shopify theme that supports Online Store 2.0. If you are unsure whether your theme qualifies, search for it in the Shopify Theme Store and look for the OS 2.0 badge.
Note: If your theme does not support OS 2.0, use one of these alternatives:
The default Shopify sign-up form
The Seguno Email Marketing Newsletter form
Add the email signup form section
Navigate to your Theme editor in Shopify admin.
Click Add section.
Click the Apps tab.
Select Seguno's Email signup.
Click the email signup section to edit the form details, including name fields and styling.
The form automatically inherits your theme's styling and is mobile-responsive. The submit button may display a hover effect and remain greyed out until all required fields are completed.
Tip:
If you embed the Email Signup section on your Coming Soon page, be sure to use your Coming Soon automation.
If you use the form for your live site, use the Welcome automation.
Note:
If you uninstall Seguno Email Marketing, the signup form section is automatically removed from your page.
FAQs
Does the Seguno email signup form work with all Shopify themes?
No. The app sections feature requires an OS 2.0 theme. For non-OS 2.0 themes, use the Newsletter form or Seguno Connections for compatible page builders.
Can I customize the signup form's appearance?
Yes. Click the signup section in the theme editor to edit the form text, name fields, and styling. The form automatically inherits your theme's base styles.
What happens to the signup form if I uninstall Seguno Email Marketing?
The section is automatically removed from your page when you uninstall the app.
Which automation should I use with the signup form?
Use the Welcome automation for a live storefront. If you embed the form on a Coming Soon page, use the Coming Soon automation instead.
