The video block in Seguno Email Marketing lets you embed YouTube videos directly in your emails. Use this article when a YouTube video you've added fails to load or display correctly in the editor.
Unsupported link format
The video block requires a direct link to an individual YouTube video. Playlist URLs, shortened URLs, and shared links are not supported.
Open the video directly on YouTube in your browser.
Copy the URL from the browser address bar.
In Seguno Email Marketing, open the email you are editing and select the video block.
Clear the existing URL field and enter the copied YouTube URL.
Note:
YouTube Shorts links and playlist links are not supported. Always use the URL from the individual video's page.
Private video visibility
YouTube videos set to private cannot be embedded in the video block. If your video thumbnail is broken and your link is correct, check the video's visibility setting.
Open YouTube and navigate to the video.
Open the video settings and confirm the visibility is set to Public or Unlisted.
Return to Seguno Email Marketing and reload the video block.
