Seguno Email Marketing includes built-in AI writing tools to help you create email content faster. Use them to generate subject lines, preview text, and rich text copy, or to refine content you have already written; all without leaving the email editor.

AI writing features require an active trial or paid subscription to Seguno Email Marketing.
Tone settings
Before generating any text, select a tone to control the style of all AI output. Six options are available:
Expert
Daring
Playful
Sophisticated
Persuasive
Supportive
Changing the tone before generating or regenerating will apply the new style to all output in that session.
Subject and preview line generation
The subject and preview line AI tool generates three options at a time based on the content of your email. You can access Seguno Assist from the newsletter management page or from inside the email editor.
From the newsletter management page (newsletters only)
Open a draft newsletter from the newsletters list.
Click Edit next to Schedule on the newsletter management page.
Click the AI icon to analyze the email content.
Click Generate to create three subject and preview line options.
Click Generate again if you want new options or have adjusted your tone setting.
In email editor:
From the email editor (newsletters and automations)
Open Seguno Email Marketing and navigate to a draft newsletter or automation.
Enter the email editor:
Newsletter: Click Customize in the upper right corner.
Automation: Click the Actions drop-down menu and select Customize.
Click the Subject and preview text section.
Click the AI icon to analyze the email content.
Click Generate to create three options.
Click Generate again if you want new options or have changed your tone setting.
Rich text copy generation
Any rich text section in a newsletter or automated email can use the AI Copywriter to generate a heading or body copy. Enter a short description of the content or message you want, and the tool generates copy based on your input and the email's existing content.
Open a rich text section in the email editor.
Click the AI icon.
Enter a short description of the content or message you want to convey.
Select Heading or Body to specify the type of content to generate.
Click Generate.
Note:
The more content present in the email when you click the AI icon, the better the quality of the generated text.
Text modification options
If you have already written copy in a rich text section, you can use AI to modify it without starting from scratch. Select any text, click the AI icon, and choose one of three options:
Rephrase — rewrites the selected text with different wording
Extend — adds more content based on the selected text
Simplify — shortens or clarifies the selected text
This is useful for adjusting tone, length, or clarity on copy you are mostly happy with.
Special instructions
Special instructions let you give the AI specific formatting or style preferences before generating. Use them to get more precise output without rewriting your prompt.
Click the Additional settings icon next to the Generate button.
Enter your preferences in the Special instructions box, which appears below the Describe content type and details box.

How do I improve the quality of AI-generated text?
Add more content to your email before clicking the AI icon, and use the Special instructions box to give specific formatting or style preferences.
Can I use AI to modify text I have already written?
Yes. Select any text in a rich text section, click the AI icon, and choose Rephrase, Extend, or Simplify.
