How SMS consent reaches TxtCart
When a shopper enters a phone number and agrees to receive texts in a Seguno popup or form, Seguno Popups & Forms saves that consent to the shopper's Shopify customer profile.
TxtCart reads Shopify customer profiles for shoppers who have given SMS consent and adds them to its SMS subscriber list.
Because both apps use the same Shopify customer profile, merchants do not need to connect Seguno Popups & Forms to TxtCart directly.
Email subscription and SMS consent are collected separately in a popup or form. A shopper who agrees to receive emails is not automatically sent texts via TxtCart, and a shopper who agrees to receive texts is not automatically subscribed to email campaigns. Not every subscriber opts into both channels.

No. Both apps read the subscriber information and add the Customer profile on the Customers page in the Shopify Admin.
How can I invite people to sign up for SMS marketing if they're already subscribed to email marketing?
First you'll want to create a customer segment of all those subscribed to your email marketing but not to your SMS marketing. Click this link to the precreated segment: Invite Email Subscribers to SMS marketing.
