The dimensions in augmented reality (AR) section in Seguno Email Marketing lets subscribers place a 3D model of a product in their physical space before purchasing. Use this section when selling items where size is a key factor in the buying decision, such as furniture, appliances, or home décor.
Requirements
The dimensions in AR section uses Shopify's site.link technology. Subscribers need one of the following devices to use the AR feature:
iPhone or iPad running iOS 12 or later
Android device with ARCore 1.9 or later support
Add the dimensions in AR section
Open the Editor in Seguno Email Marketing.
Add the Dimensions in AR section.
Select your product image.
Click Add content.
Enter the dimensions of the product.
To include additional product variants, click Add content again and enter the dimensions for each additional product.
How subscribers experience AR
When a subscriber clicks the AR link in the email, they can drag, drop, and rotate a 3D box representing the product in their physical space, no app download required. The 3D box renders within 1 to 2 cm of the dimensions you entered.
If a subscriber opens the AR link on a desktop browser, a QR code is displayed. They can scan it with a supported phone or tablet to open the AR view on a mobile device.
