“Email delivery in progress” means the newsletter is actively sending to subscribers. The sending process has started, but delivery to all recipient inboxes is not yet complete.
This status is normal and appears while Seguno: Email Marketing processes and distributes the newsletter across recipient domains.
What happens during email delivery
When a newsletter is sent, several steps occur before it reaches a subscriber’s inbox:
The system queues the email for sending
Recipient lists are validated
Sending domains are contacted
Receiving mail servers (such as Gmail or Outlook) accept and process the message
The email is delivered to the inbox, promotions tab, or spam folder, depending on the recipient’s provider
These steps happen automatically and typically complete within a short period of time.
Why delivery can take time
Delivery speed depends on several factors:
The number of subscribers receiving the newsletter
The sending reputation and deliverability history
Traffic and throttling rules from recipient domains (for example, Gmail rate limits)
Temporary server delays
For larger subscriber lists, sending may take longer because more data validation occurs during sending preparations.
When to take action
In most cases, no action is required. The status will update automatically once sending is complete.
Review the campaign if:
