Account settings control how emails are sent, branded, and localized in Seguno Email Marketing. Review these settings after installing the app or when your business information changes.
Sending settings
The Sending section controls how your emails appear when they arrive in a subscriber’s inbox. Seguno automatically pulls initial details from Shopify, but you can update these settings at any time.
From name
The From name appears in the recipient’s inbox. Use your shop name so subscribers immediately recognize the sender.
Match your Shopify store name.
If using a persona (for example, “Mikey from Goonies Shop”), clearly reference the brand name.
Warning:
Using a misleading or unrecognizable From name can increase spam complaints.
The From email address identifies the sending domain.
If you use Seguno’s default authentication, emails are sent using the seguno-mail.com authenticating domain. To remove this, authenticate a custom domain.
If you authenticate a custom domain, you can send email using your own domain to build sender reputation and improve deliverability.
Reply email
Set a monitored Reply email address. Subscribers may reply with questions or unsubscribe requests.
Warning:
Avoid using a no-reply address. No-reply addresses can increase spam reports and customer complaints.
Test email recipients
Add up to three email addresses to receive test emails.
Include team members who review campaigns.
Consider adding test addresses from major providers such as Gmail, Microsoft, and Yahoo for inbox placement testing.
Company details
Company information appears in your email footer and is required for compliance with anti-spam laws.
Company name and address
Include your business name and mailing address. A PO Box is acceptable if you do not want to list a physical address.
Customer service phone
Add a customer service phone number if applicable.
When enabled, Seguno adds a click-to-call link in the email footer.
You can enable or disable this option in the email editor.
Localization
Localization controls the language and time formatting used in your emails.
Default language
The default language determines how system-generated text appears in emails, including unsubscribe links and discount descriptions.
You can enable multiple languages.
Multiple languages allow you to create language-specific newsletters more quickly.
Time format
The time format is used for date and time-based content such as expiration dates. Choose a format and timezone familiar to your audience to avoid confusion.
Pages
Seguno creates two storefront pages to manage subscriber interactions.
Newsletter signup page: A landing page used to collect new subscribers.
Unsubscribe page: Confirms when a subscriber unsubscribes and encourages them to revisit your shop.
Billing
The Billing section shows your current charges and plan details.
View your current charge at any time.
Review your pricing summary and billing history.
